Epigenetics and Stem Cells

Venue:
BRIC, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark

Organizers: Kristian Helin and Bo Porse (BRIC, University of Copenhagen, Denmark)and Abcam

Information: Cancer is a disease associated with development and differentiation – therefore also with stem cells. Epigenetic regulation of transcription is believed to provide a memory system that regulates differentiation of stem cells and therefore cell fate decisions. The meeting will provide a forum for discussing the connections between epigenetic regulation of transcription, stem cell proliferation and the development of cancer.
