Purpose: To recognise and reward the achievements of a young scientist in any field of cancer research.

Value: A prize of £1,000 (generously donated by AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals), and the opportunity to present an oral paper at the Annual NCRI Cancer Conference with all conference expenses paid.

Eligibility: Applicants will normally be 35 or under. He/she should be a BACR member (Membership application may accompany the Award application).

• A full CV
• List of Publications
• Summary of accomplishments in cancer research
• Reprints of 3 most notable publications
• A letter of support from a BACR member.
