BACR/RSM Oncology Section meeting MicroRNAs and Translational Regulation in Cancer

Transcriptional control mechanisms and how they can be subverted in cancer are well studied. In contrast, until recently, very little was known about translational regulation and its importance in cancer.

This international meeting will update delegates on what is now a rapidly expanding field encompassing micro RNAs and mRNA translational control mechanisms with a particular focus on how this is altered in cancer.

The research presented will reveal a vast new resource for novel biomarkers and targets for cancer management.

Who should attend

basic and clinician scientists, students, pharmaceutical and other industry personnel, cancer clinicians and others interested in novel therapeutic targets and biomarker development based on translational control mechanisms. Registration, abstract submission and Programme.
