BACR - AstraZeneca Young Scientist Frank Rose Award

Purpose: To recognise and reward the achievements of a young scientist in any field of cancer research.

Value: A prize of £1,000 (generously donated by AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals), and the opportunity to present an oral paper at the Annual NCRI Cancer Conference with all conference expenses paid.

BACR - Translational Research Award

Purpose: To recognise and reward the achievements of an individual whose work has made significant contributions to translational (laboratory - clinic) cancer research.

Value: A prize of £1,000 and presentation of an oral paper at the Annnual NCRI Cancer Conference with all conference expenses paid.

BACR - Hamilton-Fairley Young Investigator Award

Purpose: To recognise and encourage the talents of more junior cancer researchers.

Value: £300

Eligibility: Clinically or scientifically qualified individuals, not more than 5 years post PhD/MD, who have been BACR members for at least one year.
