SAVE THE DATE - Trailblazers in Cancer Research

Trailblazers is organised by and for BACR's Early Career Researchers. It is aimed at  post-docs with <5 years of experience and late stage PhD students, who are members the BACR. The aim is to bring together the BACR early career community to share their research, network and to hear from internationally renowned invited speakers working in cancer research and associated career paths. 

Attending ECRs will present a talks and/or posters under one of 4 broad scientific sessions: • Cell Signalling & the Tumour Microenvironment • Cancer Omics • Emerging Approaches in Cancer Treatment • Lifestyle, Nutrition & Cancer.  Our programme also includes how to incorporate Patient Public Involvement (PPI) in your research and a “Careers Panel Session” to discuss various career routes. This is a valuable career development and networking opportunity for ECRs, and we appeal to PIs and Group Leaders to support and encourage their ECRs to participate in this conference. Abstract submission is a prerequisite for attendance, to ensure ECRs gain maximum benefit from attending.
