BACR Early Career Conference

To submit an abstract, please follow the instructions below. Some will be selected for oral presentation. If you do not wish for your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation, please state this on your abstract clearly. 

Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the Conference.  All abstracts will be considered, and authors will be notified if their abstract has been accepted or not, which will mean you have a place on this event.

Method of submission:

Please prepare your abstract as MS Word document and as an email attachment to bacr@leeds.ac.uk with the heading of the event you wish your abstract to be included in the email subject area e.g. BACR Conference XYZ 2023

Formatting:

• All text should be typed single spaced using Arial font, point size 11 
• The title should be in bold
• The authors and addresses should start on the line following the title, with the name of the presenting author underlined
• The text should be separated from the authors and addresses by a blank line
• Abstracts should not exceed 300 words (this excludes the title and authors)
• Do not include diagrams, tables or references

Name the attachment in the following manner:
BACR Conference – Abstract – Presenting Authors Name

The closing date for abstract submission is 13th May 2023. You will be notified by the end of May if your abstract has been accepted.
