Our upcoming Webinar, To the skeleton and beyond – the challenge of studying metastatic breast cancer, will be hosted by our past president, Ingunn Holen. Ingunn Holen is Professor of Bone Oncology in the Division of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health, University of Sheffield, UK, where she is Head of the Section of Cancer Biology and Therapeutics and Theme Co-Lead for Sheffield Cancer Cancer Research. Professor Holen has more than 25 years’ experience in breast cancer research, in particular in the context of translational studies of bone metastasis and therapeutics. This webinar will cover use of in vivo models in studies of metastatic breast cancer, and the current challenges that researchers are tackling to improve patient outcomes.
